Saturday 22^nd February 10-12 Super Stitchers

A sewing machine class for children aged 8 and over, bring your machine or use one of mine. We will recycle some fabrics and cardboard packaging into different sized pop up baskets £25

Tuesday 25^th February 7.30-9.30pm Sustainable Sewing – Unsponges and Popup baskets Fully booked

We are all taking steps to reduce our footprint and an unsponge replaces your sponge for scouring pans and dishes and also making little pop up storage baskets.. Using recycled and compostable fabrics, reusing instead of buying new. £25

Wednesday 4th March 7.30-9.30pm Patchwork Lampshade

Patchwork is always popular and it is perfect for making a unique lampshade to match your décor with a selection of fabrics. £25

                                       Tuesday 10^th March 7.30-9.30pm Macramé Clutch Bag

Join Clare from Bridget and Gray Studio at our Macramé Clutch Bag workshop to learn how to make new knots and you will combine these to make your own unique bag. This class is suitable for someone who has been on a beginner’s class before and wants to learn more.

Tuesday 11^th March 7.30-9.30pm Bees Wax Wraps Fully Booked

We will be learning how to make Bees Wax Wraps to replace cling film in your home and also how to make produce bags to shopping and cut down on plastic bags. Bring along a pillowcase or two to recycle.

Saturday 14th March 10-12 Super Stitchers
A sewing machine class for children aged 8 and over. We will be making a lined pencil case with a zip, learning how to use felt as a lining to give the pencil case structure. Bring your machine or book one of mine £25

Tuesday 17^th March 7.30-9.30pm Beginners Crochet Fully Booked

Learn the poplar hobby of crochet, make a Granny Square that can be made into cushions or throws but beware – it’s addictive! £25

Saturday 21st March 10-4pm Crafternoon Cruise Fully booked

Join us for a relaxing cruise on the lovely Prince Henry narrow boat heading out into the Cheshire countryside. We will leave the mooring at Stretford Marina where there is parking and of course I'll bring everything we need for a creative sewing project too - something to celebrate springtime.
It is £50 for the day with a delicious home baked picnic lunch available to order for £10 or you are welcome to bring your own.

Tuesday 24^th March 7.30-9.30pm Flat Zipped Pouch

We will learn how to use the quilting guide to quilt the fabric for a small flat pouch then insert a zip and bind the edges. £25

NEW Saturday 14^th March 10 – 1 Get Sewing Saturday

A new Saturday workshop for a parent and child to learn how to hand sew together and make a fabric owl or dog to bring home. You’ll learn how to use a pattern, do back stitch, applique and sewing on buttons. £30 for 1 parent and 1 child including all materials.

Patchwork is, rightly, very popular and is perfectly suited to making a unique and gorgeous lampshade. Bring along a pale lampshade in need of a new lease of life.
